Positive: The homestay owner was really friendly and welcoming. We were really grateful, especially when he helped to arrange for earlier buses back to the city as we had to leave early due to personal reasons. His English is great and really helpful when it comes to meals and attractions around the area as well.

Summary: It was an enjoyable stay, and will definitely be one of top homestays I would revisit

Positive: The fact that Casablanca doesn’t have a solid, untarnished 10 star review average is a mystery to me. From the breathtaking views from my bedroom window, to the reliable hot shower, delicious home-cooked food, this homestay deserves the highest of praises. However, Viet, the owner, is the absolute man! He goes above and beyond for his guests in every conceivable way. This morning, he got up early on my behalf to escort me to the trailhead for Sa Mu Peak, and checked up on me when I got caught in a flash flood, alone, 11 kilometers into a 22 kilometer trek. He’s a wealth of knowledge, a pleasure to be around, and takes the time to get to know each and every one of his guests personally. He is a legend!

Negative: Nothing. It is perfection.

Positive: Extremely generous host. The room has a large heater/radiator for cold weather and warm comforters (it was cold in late March). The staff cooked a huge meal for me (I was the only guest) and they invited friends. The food and company were lovely. Unfortunately the room was having some electrical issues, so I only stayed one night instead of the 2 planned. The owner was very helpful and understanding that I asked to check-out early. The weather was cold, rainy, and very foggy, so I didn’t get to view the dinosaur spine, but if I come back, I would stay here again. The price is competitive with other places in the area, and their rooms are nicer than a few I checked out in person.

Positive: Had such an amazing time here. The host was one of the nicest people I’ve met in Vietnam. The rooms have an amazing mountain view and even come with a heater. Also the food was soo delicious.

Positive: The location is quite surreal, high up in the mountains and surrounded by pretty gardens. The room was very clean and came with a heater so we were thankful to get warm and dry after a long, cold ride. We enjoyed a huge hot pot dinner (couldn't even get close to finishing it) and a hearty breakfast too.

Negative: The initial welcome seemed a bit cold, the walls of the rooms are very thin (so bring ear plugs) & the bathrooms are a bit of a walk from most of the rooms.
