Positive: The staff was amazing. Very helpful and very friendly. When we needed something they always could help us in some way. Also the restaurant and breakfast were very nice. Good food. The private beach and beachbar were a nice extra feature. The garden was beautiful as well.

Positive: «Come as a guest - leave as family» is the motto of Casa Nemo, and we really got to experience this. Not only is this a paradise on earth, but the people working there are all so genuinely warm, kind, helpful and caring! We got many new friends during our 8 days long stay. We are definitely coming back!

Positive: We really liked the bungalow. Air con was working well, beautiful balcony with a view, it was clean. Wonderful personnel

Negative: No internet in the rooms, only in the restaurant. And apparently it will stay like this as they want people to relax.. Well, for the price you pay it should be available in the rooms. Beach in front of the hotel should be cleaned every morning, it was full of plastic and a bit disappointing.

The entire hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, full of lush greenery and tropical plants, creating a peaceful, paradise-like atmosphere. The view of the ocean from the resort is simply stunning — especially from my bungalow, which had a direct sea view and was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bungalows themselves are very comfortable and offer a great sense of privacy. You really feel at home the moment you step inside. The location is ideal — just a few minutes from Kota Sabang, so it’s easy to explore the town while still enjoying a tranquil setting away from the crowds. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One highlight was how they assisted me in organizing a snorkeling trip with a local fisherman — a unique and unforgettable experience! The on-site restaurant is also excellent, with a relaxed atmosphere and a wide selection of tasty dishes and drinks. Whether you’re having breakfast or dinner, the setting is lovely. One of the best parts: direct access to the sea, where you can go snorkeling right from the resort! It’s such a special perk to have it right at your doorstep. Lastly, the transfer to the harbor was organized smoothly and on time, which made my departure stress-free. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Casa Nemo to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway on Pulau Weh!

Positive: Casa Nemo is owned by an Acehnese woman who prioritizes cultivating beautiful experiences and running an ethical, eco-friendly business. The entire resort is beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers everywhere. Everything here is done with intention and love. The staff take great pride in their work. Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

Negative: Casa Nemo is built into a hill and has many steps to get down to the beach at the bottom. That said, if you can't do multiple flights of stairs, you can still enjoy the restaurant and spa which are located near the road. There are also bungalows closer to the road (I think you may have to go down one flight of stairs to get to the highest bungalows). One major upside to the resort being built into the hill is that you'll get an ocean view from almost every part of the resort. It truly is a paradise!

Positive: We had a cabin.incl a hammock on stilts in lush tropical vegetation with view on the sea. Extremely helpful and hospitable staff, to be mentioned June and Putri. Transportation to centre of Sabang and rest of Pulau Weh was quickly provided. Tastfully decorated rottan style restaurant, providing excellent meals.
