Positive: This was our second stay here this year. It is a fantastic place. We stayed in one of the budget double rooms last time, which was great, but this time, we stayed in a waterfront cabin, which was amazing. The location is amazing, the snorkelling is great and the staff are lovely. The restaurant has very good food We would love to stay again one day in the future. Many thanks to all the staff for making our staff so good.

Positive: The huts were simple but good and comfy with nice views. There were unusually many lights, which was nice. The restaurant is a nice place to sit and enjoy the sunset. It had fantastic semut ayam, highly recommended! The restaurant team was nice and helpful. We could rent scooters here. It's also nice to have a fridge in the room.

Negative: One of our two huts had a leaky roof and water was dripping in the hut when it was raining. Fortunately not on the bed or our stuff! The small fridge was smelly and needs to be replaced. The place is a bit far from Ipoih beach, so you need to walk for 20 Minutes over a hill or have a scooter.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Pele's place! The beachfront bungalow had an amazing view. We could hear only the sound of the waves. Priceless! We spent most of our time enjoying the hammock on the balcony. Also, the bed was very comfortable. The owner and the staff from the restaurant were extremely friendly & professional, always doing their best to make us feel good. The food was very tasty. We also rented a scooter from them at a good price. Everything was great! We definitely recommend without any hesitation. Thank you for all the good quality service and hope to see you again 😊

Positive: The view was nice from the restaurant.

Negative: Wasn't as described. My room should've had the sea view, but it was up high in the forest and the walkway to the sea was so descending, totally not suitable for family with little kids. Should have written that in the description. Tried to contact the owner for a refund as we didn't stay there except for the duration as we waited for our local driver to pick up. Less than two hours. No refund till now.

Summary: Bad experience that we had to move out rightaway to another homestay :(

Positive: The location is perfect. Very close to Iboih Beach and less than ten minutes by motorbike from Gapang Beach. Plus, the restaurant has a little terrace right in front of the sea, where you can swim directly into the water and go snorkeling. The staff are all super friendly and help you with everything—Anni, Boi, and everyone else. Anni cooks everything so delicious! You can’t miss her Semur. They also have adorable kittens living around, and they take good care of them :) They also rent motorbikes :)

Positive: Quiet location just a little ways up the road from Iboih Beach. I loved the waterfront bungalow! The staff were incredibly friendly and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious! Loved every dish I tried... I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Nice swimming area also.

Negative: No daily coffee or water, only on first night. This is disappointing because I stayed for almost 1 week. It's a very minor expense to them, and they would've had to do it if there were new guests. Would've appreciated a small discount (or at least coffee and water) since they were spared the burden of having to clean daily for new guests. Also, a real blanket/comforter for the bed would be nice. Only a thin throw blanket was provided.

Positive: Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

Negative: The sloped walkway is covered in moss and can be very slippery, but they were beginning to power-wash it clean while we were there.
