Positive: The spa tub was huge and had strong jets.And, all the hotel cosmetics (soap, shampoo, etc.) smelled great and seemed top quality.

Negative: Breakfast disappointed bc the appliances (toaster, Brio, microwave) were low-powered or non-functional. And, idk if the promoted BBQ grills worked bc no one used them during my stay; I didn't use them bc they were not close at all to our room.

Summary: Casa del Sol made my stay in Carpintería cuter than expected.

Positive: It was a small quaint room which was perfect for a one night stop. Easy access and easy check out

Negative: The cleaniless. All towels provided were pretty dirty so we ended up buying extra ones. The floors were also sticky so we had to wear socks and shoes. The bedsheet that was in the bed has dog prints on it??? So we had to remove it and just used the top comforter. Its not too big of a deal since we just needed a quick stay but I would think that at least you’d check for animal footprints on the bedsheets when placing them. There were also random wet spots when we got there. For example the travel brochure/magazine were wet when we picked one up to look through it and also random wet spot on the floor. It was probably just water but still odd.

Summary: Overall, good for a wuick one night stay but definitely work on cleaning a little bit better.
