Positive: We enjoyed the wildlife, flowers, balcony up in the trees, fresh air, family fun, and your incredible artichoke and vegetable risotto in the restaurant.

Negative: Housekeeping didn’t clean the room very well. Behind the nightstand on both sides of the bed was waded up Kleenex. It was disgusting.

Summary: We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves and spending time with our family. Would I come back probably not.

Positive: Loved the walks, the fire pit, the store, the spa, the pool. Bathrooms are fantastic, outdoor bath is lovely. Excellent servers at the main restaurant.

Negative: No mini bar or snacks in the room, tough reheated chicken on room service Caesar salad, decor looks a little old fashioned now, it could use an upgrade. However very family friendly and relaxed.

Summary: Lovely trip to Carmel with the family.

Positive: The room was large.

Negative: Very expensive. Should have cost 20% of what it actually did. The pool and fitness center are very far from the accommodations - you need a car or a shuttle. Beds are much too soft. There's no shower curtain so it's very cold to take the shower. Completely gold costs 25$ per person. The scavenger hunt game isn't well designed.
