Summary: *Check in was welcoming and friendly. Personally I've wanted to stay here for a couple years and on my birthday this year we made it happen for a couple days. *booking through a third party doesn’t work very well especially with fees that aren’t given to the customer- please remember that. Paid $88 for resort fees. The hotel check in should do a reminder of this at the time of getting room keys etc. *got (upgraded) as a birthday gift to the pavilion king which was sweet. The bathtub was beautiful placed but definitely for a single person. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The first night was so bad the morning after ended up with such a stiff back we had to go get KT tape which helped the next couple days. The room was mediocre there really is nothing special about it. It’s sitting on a multi million dollar property so the greens fairway and ponds are beautiful. The property upkeep is impeccable. We choose not to eat on site. The happy hour provides white and red wine, we met some nice people. The swimming pool is heated we tried that once. The spa Adeline we only tried for the steam room which was inadequate in the women’s locker room. Super unfortunate. The views on the outside and driving into the property are stunning. However. The resort fee is ridiculous for the “amenities” offered. The staff walking around mind their business but aren’t full of cheer and welcoming. Thé had a station used to clean your windshields but no solution available.
