Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located in a quiet neighborhood within 4-5 blocks of 2 beaches! Carmel River State Beach and Carmel City Beach.
The kitchen, living room and dining area are spacious and comfortable for small gatherings of family or friends.
Your home away from home, enjoy the outdoor patio, cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the BBQ, and dine outside by the gas heater. And as the evening cools, snuggle up with your favorite novel as you light up the gas fire pit, or enjoy one of your favorite movies on the flat screen HD TV from our movie collection, or play one of your own on our Blueray DVD player. Comcast adds 140 channels and wifi is also provided.
If you want to get out ... dine at the famous former mayor's 'Mission Ranch' just 3 blocks away. Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in 'Carmel By The Sea' - just under a mile and easily walkable through the beautiful unique Carmel neighborhoods. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium or golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.
If you'd rather enjoy nature ... drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. So many places to hike and beaches to explore! Rent bikes (or e-bikes!) and cycle along the coast from Monterey, past Lover's Point, to Pebble Beach. Avid cyclers can also cycle north past numerous sand dunes on a coastal bike path. Paddle kayaks on the Monterey Bay, at Lover's Point, or up the coast at Moss Landing.

Summary: I've stayed in many vacation rentals, but this, by far was the absolute BEST. It is beautifully furnished with everything you could ever imagine you might need. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful home base while exploring the area.

Summary: Beautiful, well appointed, excellent location, great vibe. We couldn't have been happier. We even met our hosts, and they were lovely people. They also made great suggestions and recommendations for food and activities. We would highly recommend and hope to return ourselves!My only 4 ranking was price. It was reasonable, and affordable. My only tiny complaint is the VRBO site said all fees were included, and gave us a price. When we got to check out the price was different.....maybe by 40 or so. Perhaps it was my error, or tax? But when the site says all included, and a figure, I don't go looking for holes in that description as to me, that only means one thing.

Summary: The location was in a quiet neighborhood but there was repairs being done to the street and there was a noisy dog next door. The master bedroom was nice but the second bedroom was so so. The main bathroom was functional but had poor lighting and an awkward door handle. The wi-fi continuously dropped its signal which made using it a pain. Aside from that the accommodation was lovely.

Summary: Absolutely clean everywhere. Very comfortable to relax indoors and outside on the patio with all the varied plants and occasionally hearing the sound of the ocean. Short walk to beach.

Summary: The house was located in a cute neighborhood close to beaches and easy to walk to nice restaurants. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed in the house. The patio had beautiful gardens and lots of birds. Would love to stay again!

Summary: The cottage was cozy in the cold weather. It has a well appointed kitchen for a chef or one can enjoy great restaurant choices close by. We loved sitting out front in the afternoon by a glass filled fire pit watching the local birds forage and cavort. This cottage is one of a kind.
