Positive: It was the largest space we experienced in 3 weeks in Costa Rica with multiple rooms. The customer service was great and, as usual, very polite. They told us how to fund the quetzal bird, which was not where we expected in the national park, but rather up the road between 5:30 and 7:30am. We went there, found guides with lots of tourists finding the bird. We had success!

Negative: The rim was very tired, but clean. This was unlike most similarly priced rooms.

Positive: Tiny cabin, with small seating corner. It’s very basic. The restaurant opposite the street is run by Miriam, where you can have breakfast or other meals. There are birds around like hummingbirds, squirrels and woodpeckers. If you want to see the quetzal, this is the place!

Negative: Be aware there is no kitchen or kitchen facilities in the cabin, only a coffee maker and some glasses.

Positive: Really great stay with a great host. It isn't very clear from the listing but this is the same owner as Miriam's Quetzals, which is across the street. That means you have access to the great bird feeders and a small seating area. The restaurant was also quite nice.

Negative: A few of the pillows could use replacing.

Positive: Nice place with many birds next to the restaurant. Personal very friendly

Negative: Shower a little cold, sink quite small. Pizzeria across the street had not open, so you need to find another place to eat (that is not that easy on this mountain road)

Positive: The staff was very nice, the food was good, and the location and view were great!

Negative: The room wasn't ventilated properly, and the roof has tin on it which made extremely loud noise when the rain started at night.. we had to sleep with noise canceling headphones.. also the water wasn't warm and the Google maps location sent us all the way to the bottom of the valley, which was beautiful, but it was hard to find the place :(
