In a pretty little ‘casa’ overlooking the water - a recently renovated and handsomely dressed 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment for four conveniently positioned near the Church of the Frari in the San Polo district.
A jolly ray of sunshine on the first floor overlooking the ‘Rio di San Polo’ canal and a bridge on which stripe-shirted gondoliers pass the time of day and ply their ancient trade, the warm and welcoming Ca’ Dei Nomboli offers comfort and elegance throughout its spacious interior.
Stylishly presented with splashes of colour, accommodation comprises a large and semi-open plan sitting/dining room decorated and furnished in a tropical fruit cocktail of zingy ‘mandarino’, zesty ‘pompelmo rosa’, juicy lime and mouth-watering mango and featuring two tall windows with decorative balustrades overlooking the canal.
The modern kitchen with small breakfast bar to the rear is well-equipped and designed to make optimum use of the available space and, in keeping with the rest of the apartment (excluding bathrooms), has gorgeous wooden parquet flooring heightening the overall feeling of quality and adding a dash of period charm, while air-conditioning throughout plus Wi-Fi internet connection and a laundry room with washing machine on the ground floor add to the comfort and ease of your stay.
In contrast to the energizing tones of the main living area are two pretty-as-a-picture double bedrooms decked out for chilling out in soft blue and white seaside stripes reminiscent of lazy days spent at the beach - one to the rear of the apartment with its own beautiful en-suite bathroom with shower and the other overlooking the canal to the front and also with its own equally stylish bathroom with bathtub and shower over - and both with double beds which can be made into twins on request.

Very well located between the Rialto area in the north (with its famous food markets and labyrinth of alleyways) and the Dorsoduro district in the south (with its wide ‘fondamente’, antique shops and galleries) and only two minutes’ walk to the 14th century Church of the Frari, Campo San Polo and the jaw-dropping Tintoretto-filled Scuola Grande Di San Rocco.
Moments to a well-stocked 'Billa' supermarket and a great range of restaurants for both dining in and eating out and a stone’s throw to the vaporetto stop and 'Traghetto' gondola ferry at San Toma on the Grand Canal - ideal for trips (during operating times) over to the 'must-see' attractions of the San Marco district and beyond.
For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.

Summary: Communication before/during stay was excellent. We were met at the local water taxi stop and shown to the apartment and shown around the apartment received some recommendations for local restaurants etc. Apartment is in good location - we walked everywhere. Apartment is large and both bedrooms bathrooms were good sized. Kitchen is slightly small but has everything you need and we were only making breakfast anyway. The apartment is up a flight of stairs. Downstairs is the laundry room - washer and dryer and is locked so just for the apartment's use. Would recommend.

Summary: The apartment is right on one of the small canals. Right is the heart of Venice. It is picturesque from the windows in the front bedroom and living room. There is a small bridge also great for photos. The apartment is clean and bathrooms are large. Well decorated with everything you would need. Kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay! Gondolas leave right next to the building.

Summary: This apartment is spacious and has very comfortable beds, deep sofas perfect for lounging, excellent storage in bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and well maintained, it felt like a luxury hotel. Nice bedding, fluffy towels. Kitchen is very small but has what you need to make simple meals, and plenty of dish ware and the large dining table gives you a comfortable place to eat. VoV service is impeccable. We can’t recommend this company and apartment highly enough. The only thing needed in this apartment was a towel to dry dishes with and a place to hang coats.

Summary: This property is delightful. The location is central to everything, walkable to every part of the city. There are two separate bedroom/bathroom suites, which was perfect for two couples, and a spacious living area. It is sparkling clean and outfitted with everything one could possibly need. The hosts had someone meet us at every point and gave us all the information we needed.Thanks for a great week in Venice!

Summary: This flat is very well placed for public transportation, sights of interest and restaurants. There is also a supermarket nearby. The sitting room is comfortable, the kitchen is small but very well equipped. Not sure you can improve this but perhaps have some crockery stored in the kitchen?

Summary: We enjoyed this nicely updated & well appointed apartment on a beautiful canal with a bridge view! Two couples so the two bedrooms & two bathrooms worked out well. We had fun snacking on local cheese, meat, olives & wine from the local coop in the comfy living room area, with the windows open to the canal below. The apartment was one flight up, so not a bad walk, and had a washer/dryer in the basement which was convenient. Would highly recommend hiring a private water taxi to take you directly from the Venice airport boat dock to the closest drop off near the apartment as it made the transition from airport to apartment very smooth and a very short walk with our suitcases!
