Positive: Late check in

Negative: Location not so close from the train station. Need to take a ride. They took cash payment from me and told me that they will give me change next day. I never received it. Called them to check abt it, they promessed to call back but never did it. The exchange rate they used to convert my booking payment was extremly law, lower then airport. Unlike all other hotels in srilanka which used normal rate. Not very confortable. I found some body laggage on my bed, big dirty laggage and price is high for a hostel in srilanka mix dormitory.

Positive: Comfortable beds, kind staff with nice local recommendations, pleasant common area/lobby, great location close to train station and bus stand as well as other areas to explore like Pettah and Beira Lake

Negative: No initiative to connect guests with each other but I guess most are just passing through, although equipped the kitchen was quite dirty, bathroom was not the cleanest either but it was okay
