Positive: The hosts are friendly and do everything to make you feel at home. The swimming pools are great to relax after a day of snorkeling/diving

Negative: The cost. The accommodation is not as perfect as shown on the pictures and does not justify the high price. We have been travelling for a long time through Indonesia and have a lot of reference. The food is delicious, but also too expensive.

Positive: Food and surroundings are fantastic, also the availability of the staff. We ended up feeling at home! Also, the owner helped us a lot getting a transfer from the airport and back. The snorkeling and diving in the area are breathtaking. The staff on the boat was amazing, and the diving instructor was great.

Negative: The shower has salty water, tho we understand this is part of the fact that the hotel is in an island. Sometimes the prices of the tours are not defined in advance, so make sure to clarify them in before the trip.

Positive: The whole experience is just amazing: the quiet, private location, the pool (even a 3m deep, small "diving refresh" is on site), the food (both Indonesian and European) the diving (private boat, experienced PADI certified instructors) but most of all the two amazing hosts: Madi and Julianna. You can fully enjoy your stay, turn your carefree holiday mode on, as everything is handled for you. They know everything (and everyone) on the island, offer almost 24/7 advice and can help with even the most bizarre guest requests. Top class!

Positive: Perfect location, 3 minute on foot to snorkeling site or dock for diving; tons of fish, turtle and intact coral reef; Excellent pools ( three different depth) for leisure and dive training, super relax after you come back from diving or snorkeling; Fine dining cooked by the owners themselves, though a little slow; we even get a wild chicken from the jungle; Hot shower and no power cut, which is quite rare in this island; Dive instructor is absolutely professional; The owners are super warm and helpful;

Negative: Price for transportation, tour and diving is a little higher compared with nearby diving resort, but acceptable considering the luxury you enjoyed in the hotel; Dive masters are skilled but unfortunately not good at underwater photography.

Positive: I was looking for somewhere with a pool to chill by during the day whilst my partner dives. The pool was amazing, cleaned every day and loungers to chill and read a book. The standard room was clean and had one of the comfiest bed I’ve slept in. And the swinging chairs on the balcony were a nice touch. The resort has lots of potential and looks like they are constantly working on it to make it better. Food wasn’t included, dinner was standard Indonesian food, bit pricey but big portions- too big for us. As the resort was very quiet we chose to eat elsewhere for dinner. We enjoyed the breakfast and the owner had the staff bring us complimentary snacks / cake each day which were delicious. The resort is on the roadside not directly on the waterfront, so really depends on what your after, my priority was a pool. this place would be perfect for families that want a pool as they had a very shallow kids pool too. The staff were amazing, Yuliana the owner wasn’t there but she wats app so we had her contact if we had any issues- which we didn’t as Ega, Mae and all the other staff made us feel so much at home. The girls apologised for their lack of English, but it’s way better than our Indonesian! And they communicated well and we had some laughs. It was so lovely to see their big smiles and always laughing with each other. My partner is an experienced diver and had a great time diving with Stefan, Stefan is a great dive master and all the boat crew were great too. He loved the diving. You can snorkel from the waterfront around high tide just across the road in front of the 3will resort approx 3 - 5 mins walk away. Saw 11 turtles during one short snorkel! Left out of the resort and 5 -10 mins up the road is a couple of small bars facing the waterfront and to the right a 10 - 15 minute walk to village and harbour. Bunaken was very quiet when we stayed so we were the only guests so had the pools and place to ourselves!!- was like our own private Villa!

Negative: We were the only guests there, so we didn’t eat dinner there as a bit quiet and no one to meet (not the resorts fault as we met other people from other resorts and they were quiet too)

Positive: The owners and the staff were really nice. They could give us lots of information about the islands, diving and snorkeling. Booking trips with them was easy, quick and flexible, really reasonable prices. The pool was great! Clean rooms, big beds, nice restaurant.

Negative: We didn't have wifi in our room, only on the terrace, which wasn't a big problem though.

Summary: Great stay, would highly recommend!
