Positive: super close to our event (phoenix hotel) and really good pricing. Room was super clean. area was "so-so", but that was expected of the TL

Negative: We had prepaid for the room. Was charged incidentals upon check-in (which was expected), but then the feont desk clerk tried to hustle another payment (couldn't tell because she had turned the card reader around and started making selections. When I questioned what was going on she gave a super vague answer. Beware of them selecting choices and charges without YOU selecting. We refused to Accept and requested her to re-run options/charges. She just canceled and handed us our room key. Visitors BEWARE!

Positive: The staff was nice and they did try to make you feel at ease, but the location was not the best

Negative: The location was terrible. However, the staff did help by keeping the gates shut for parking, and the rooms were all located above the parking, and you did need a key card to get in, but it was still a very bad location. Homeless were all around the building, and I didn’t feel comfortable walking outside of the property
