Positive: The location is awesome. Just 2 minutes from the sea-front (don't expect beach), 3 minutes from Gateway of India, bang in the middle of Colaba Market street. Amazing bargain shopping on the streets . Also the road has hi-street fashion wear stores too. Nariman Point, Marine Drive and iconic South Mumbai heritage buildings are within 2 km distance.

Negative: The breakfast could have been better; Toiletries could have been better

Positive: Staff was very friendly and welcoming (they offered me a breakfast even when I was late), nice and clean room, NO insects, bed linen clean, hot water without any problems, beautiful building in a green and wooded area, and location... COULDN'T BE BETTER: in the heart of Colaba; it might be a bit noisy during the day, but after 11 pm is nice and quiet even.on the heart of Colaba. Churchgate Station 20 mins away walking, Victoria Station 25 mins walking, nearest Metro statoon (Aqua Line) 15 mins walking, Gate of India... less then 10 mins walking, Colaba market - 0 mins walking... hehehe. Coming back to Mumbai I will definitely stay in this place.

Negative: A bit noisy during the day, but... it's INDIA and you are in the heart of Mumbai. Breakfast a bit boring but this is not restaurant, so it's okay to start the day

Positive: Excellent location, very helpful hosts who let us leave our bags earlier than check in time which was really useful. Very easy access for buses and the metro or for walking places like the gateway of India.

Positive: Great location, short walk to the Gateway of India and walk distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was big and comfortable, very clean.

Positive: Very cool old colonial building. The rooms are very large, staff were always around to help with any requests/questions and even provided breakfast directly to our room. Despite being so close to a busy road it was quiet and comfortable

Negative: No communal areas but this cannot be helped with the design
