Positive: This was my second stay at this property, so that speaks for itself. Everything was great: the location in the heart of Colaba, with major tourist attractions within walking distance (Gate of India - 3 minutes, Colaba Market - 1 minute, Churchgate Train Station and CSMT - both within a 15-minute walk). The nearest Metro station (Aqua Line), offering connections to the International Airport, is also a 15-minute walk away. The property offers a delicious breakfast (omelet, toast, coffee/tea), clean rooms and hot water in the shower. Staff is very helpful and customer friendly.

Negative: Literally nothing; it might be a bit noisy, but you are in a heart of 15 mlns population city

Summary: This will be my first choice for my stay in Mumbai again

Positive: The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the location is a good location with plenty of things to see in the general area, street markets, museums etc if you don't mind walking a bit. In general if you are a light sleeper, rooms with balconies in India are not a good idea. I've been learnig that the hard way! The staff changed my room to an interior room without fuss which was great, but I still didn't sleep well, but not because of the noise. .

Negative: The main beds in my room were old style in wood and far too small. I'm 1.80cm and didn't fit, so if you are my height or more , this could be a problem ( so check first) There is no external dining area so a basic breakfast ( omelette, toast + tea/coffee) is served in the room and with a smile..

Positive: The location is awesome. Just 2 minutes from the sea-front (don't expect beach), 3 minutes from Gateway of India, bang in the middle of Colaba Market street. Amazing bargain shopping on the streets . Also the road has hi-street fashion wear stores too. Nariman Point, Marine Drive and iconic South Mumbai heritage buildings are within 2 km distance.

Negative: The breakfast could have been better; Toiletries could have been better

Positive: Staff was very friendly and welcoming (they offered me a breakfast even when I was late), nice and clean room, NO insects, bed linen clean, hot water without any problems, beautiful building in a green and wooded area, and location... COULDN'T BE BETTER: in the heart of Colaba; it might be a bit noisy during the day, but after 11 pm is nice and quiet even.on the heart of Colaba. Churchgate Station 20 mins away walking, Victoria Station 25 mins walking, nearest Metro statoon (Aqua Line) 15 mins walking, Gate of India... less then 10 mins walking, Colaba market - 0 mins walking... hehehe. Coming back to Mumbai I will definitely stay in this place.

Negative: A bit noisy during the day, but... it's INDIA and you are in the heart of Mumbai. Breakfast a bit boring but this is not restaurant, so it's okay to start the day
