Summary: My family just spent an amazing week enjoying all that St George Island and this beautiful home have to offer. We have rented many beach houses over the years and we all agreed Recharge by the Sea is our all time favorite! EVERY detail has been thought out with comfort in mind. All the furnishings, appliances, bedding, outdoor space, pool, beach equipment, towels, etc are top notch. The layout of the home is ideal for larger families with children and having 4 1/2 baths was so convenient! To say it’s fully equipped is an understatement! There were plenty of towels, beach towels, blankets and the kitchen has everything you could ever want! We liked the addition of a wine refrigerator and coffee area. The ocean views, quick and easy walk to the beach and the amazing pool made for great days in the sun with family. The island is like going back in time- in a great way! Enjoy the local restaurants and very laid back vibe while living in luxury! The home owner is incredibly responsive and provided proactive communication to make our stay wonderful. Everything in the home is labeled making finding things so easy. We could not honestly think of one detail overlooked! Don’t hesitate to rent this beautiful beach home.

Summary: Recharge by the Sea is an amazing home! Laura and Jim provide their guest a home filled with everything you would need while on vacation. This home is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. You are steps from the beach and the pool is a great place to cool off after a fun beach day. Our family looks forward to visiting again soon.

Summary: Our family had a fabulous vacation at Recharge by the Sea! The gulf side location is perfect with easy boardwalk access to the beach. It’s beautifully designed, decorated, and equipped for families and couples. We had plenty of space to all be together in the great room as well as our own space in the large bedrooms & bathrooms. We were impressed with how clean the house was when we arrived and appreciated the book that listed valuable information about the property, local area, activities, and restaurants. Tom and Laura made themselves available to ensure that we had every need met throughout our stay. As hosts, they have gone above and beyond to furnish extras to enhance their guests’ experience. We were impressed with the guest closet filled with beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. The great room had games, puzzles, books and toys; the kitchen was well equipped with anything we needed. We highly recommend Recharge by the Sea!

Summary: The island had a lot of standing water from the hurricane, so our original plans had to change when we got down there. Fortunately, we found this house and the owner worked very quickly to get us in that same day! Not only did it save our trip, but it was possibly the best house we've stayed at on SGI! It was almost brand new, had a great layout, had amazing decorating, came with all the "extras" you need for a week at the beach, had its own boardwalk down to the beach, and had a fantastic pool! This was the ultimate turning lemons into lemonade...amazing trip and house!

Summary: Recharge by the Sea is, simply put, one of the best vacation homes we have ever stayed-in. We've been vacationing at St. George Island for almost 20 years and this house will definitely go down as one of our favorites and one we would love to return to! The location, the layout of the house, the pool, all of the amenities provided... Not to mention one of the best stocked kitchens ever... Made for a wonderful stay with our family. Despite a week of rain and storms, we had a wonderful time in this lovely home and would highly recommend it to others. One other important note is the owners and how great they are to work with. The communication was outstanding and Laura is so accommodating and helpful. We had a great time and hope to return to RBS soon!

Summary: We've been renting houses for years in FL, this was our first time to SGI. We absolutely loved it. The house was amazing. Had way more beach stuff than any houses we've rented. We actually brought too much stuff with us! House was impeccable. Pool area was just the right size.

Summary: I sincerely hesitate to write this review. I simply hate to let everyone in on the gem that is Recharge by the Sea. Alas, this was our first trip to St. George Island, and we couldn’t feel more fortunate to have found Recharge. As a construction professional, I was impressed with the quality of this nearly new build, and I can’t recall wanting for one single dish, utensil or other need. It was super helpful to have all the cabinet doors and drawers labeled. For a single story home, the place is huge. I think I counted seating for over 20 in the main living area. And the decks outside are super spacious as well. Access to the beach was a cinch, and pool was awesome! The area is so sparsely populated, and everyone on the beach was super friendly. The home is truly immaculate and you can tell that it’s far from just a stream of income for the owners. Rather, it’s a labor of love. And about the owners - probably the clearest and most solid communication we’ve ever experienced. Laura was genuinely invested in making sure we knew all we needed to have the time of our lives, but not intrusive by any means. 5/5 for sure! We hope to stay again someday soon.

Summary: First off, you walk in and the home is spotless.The cleaning crew does a great job. Next the communication you receive from Laura is outstanding! Really nice views from the deck, nice open floor plan and your own boardwalk steps to the beach. Plus they have all the things you need for the beach and the home. Renting this home was simply a GREAT experience,my family loved it.
