Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Seabatical. Space was great, location was great, and was the perfect spot for our whole family!

Summary: I have rented many beach houses and never had this many issues. Renovations should be done. The AC on one side of house went out two different times, the tv’s in the house were not working for most of our stay, the swimming pool was a mess upon arrival, the pool filter and fountain never turned on, screens were loose on the screened porch and the fan never worked, furniture on the porch was very old and one seat had ripped cushions, game room had an old pool table ( I was told that they bought a new one), pots and pans in the kitchen were old and rusty, the floor of the outside porch was rotted out in certain spots, I reported this house to VRBO and there is a case #. I could list other things but I think that you will understand the condition of this rental. The location was fine and I loved St. George Island! I just wish that I had rented a nicer home for the money that I paid. I would NOT recommend “Seabatical” on St. George Island, Fl.

Summary: The house was comfortable and roomy for our 8-11 guests that fluctuated during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the location easy and plenty of space for people to find a place to read, chat or enjoy the breeze. Back porch could use some screen help - no-see-ums were a bit pesky! Only confusion was no one gave us the gate code to the pool and I had to call around to find someone to help us. I also wish that you had told me that an outside outfitter would be contacting me regarding beach gear. I received emails but they read like a sales pitch so I didn't realize it was connected to the house. Just a quick welcome email with some details like gear, codes etc would be helpful. Overall we had a great stay.
