Location:
KI Star Beach House is located on the closest corner and access to Island Beach down a small sandy road. You can either walk or drive onto the beach. Situated on a corner facing the ocean and DeCoudie Dr. with Penguin St. on the West and Borda Road the back boundary where the entrance to the car park is. Amazing elevated location from which you can watch all the sail boats launch right in front on the beach.
We are located approximately 12 minutes drive from where the Ferry lands in the small seaside town of Penneshaw and 30 minutes from Kingscote airport. A map and Guest Information Package is provided to all our guests.

Summary: We loved our stay at this property and have already recommended to friends. Great location with beach views (as per the listing). The deck area is great and kayaks were a bonus that was appreciated and used. Only regret was not staying longer than 4 nights on KI as there is a lot to do and there are fairly long distances between attractions.

Summary: Wow wow wow, we have been to KI previously but had not stumbled across this gem of a beach before, perfect spot for a relaxing family break and base for visiting all the other gems of KI. The home is beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and the perfect layout for our family of 5. Hope to come back some day.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Island Beach. The views are amazing from the deck and panoramic windows in this home. Its right on the beach (just a short walk down from the home to a long beach). I ran a 5K on the beach one morning and only saw one person the entire run. So fun! The communication from the host was fantastic. Any question I had was answered quickly and completely. We had a great stay and would stay there again if the opportunity arises.
