Positive: Everything was amazing in the house. The wildlife coming so close in the garden was an unexpected highlight as well
Negative: Nothing wrong with the house. The local beach is not very appealing at the moment. But there are enough good beaches close by via car.

Positive: We had a fabulous stay at The Dunes in early January. It is a very modern and tastefully decorated Villa, flooded with light. Communication with the owner was very clear and straightforward. There is a well appointed kitchen and ample living space for a family or two couples. A short walk through the dunes (Yes, it is aptly named :) takes you to a delightful beach and we were visited each day by a herd of kangaroos, who came to feed on the lawn. It was a great base for exploring the island, being a relatively short drive from both Penneshaw and Kingscote.

Positive: The Dunes is located in an amazing location surrounded by natural vegetation. We frequently saw kangaroos feeding right on the door step. The venue is very spacious with modern furnishings and plenty of room to spread out. While access is via a dirt road, it can be easily accessed using a 2WD.
Summary: A great getaway surrownded by natura and walking distance to the beach.
