Positive: The room layout and furnishings were astonishing for the price, which is the best bargain in Santa Maria at $92 booking.com rate. We particularly liked the “closet” area as it was best use of space ever. A/C was very cold and easy to control in room. Platform bed had automatic motion lighting near floor, which was a nice touch for night activities. Attendant was extremely helpful and came to room to reconnect the wireless cable and set up CC on the TV. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean.

Negative: Not in the best part of town. No hangars for “closet”. TV channels which normally offer CC did not have CC here, which was strange. Might have been stripped or ? by the cable provider Spectrum?

Summary: Perfectly wonderful if you need a bed just for one night.

Positive: Your basic motel but recently upgraded and renovated. They seem to have taken it down to the studs and then built up again, including new and well insulating windows. very comfy bed, modern and pleasing appliances, laminate floor. A very good multi-media TV to boot. For under $100 this was a steal.

Positive: The price and the staff were amazing . The room was clearly newly renovated and was comfortable. The staff was friendly , available and helpful.

Negative: The area is not great. It is a motel, not a hotel.
