Positive: We liked the host, the puppy, beautiful view from the terrace and relaxing atmosphere. The Rose valley is nearby for hiking. Overall it was a wonderful vacation. Recommend this place as quiet, cozy and super friendly.

Positive: This hotel is owned by a very warm and kind owner and his family. He has a great sense of humor and made us feel welcome immediately. The "cave" room we had was actually a basement room but the selection of rooms available was limited by our request for 2 single beds. The room was very large and spacious. Also very comfortable. The facility is a bit older but the owner works hard to keep it in decent condition. The breakfast area is wonderful, providing inside or outside seating. The breakfast variety was wonderful. The hotel is not actually in Goerme but in the small town of Cavusin about 12 minutes by car from Goerme. That was initially disappointing to me but it worked out ok--just not as many night time options for restaurants or walking. There was good access to hiking trails both up in the mountains and along the valley, including a trail to Goerme. There was no problem with any of our pick ups for booked tours--all the drivers were familiar enough with the area to find the hotel.

Positive: We even couldn’t imagine how close to the cave city we were. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and authentic. The host was the best host ever. He was waiting for us and was always ready to make our stay as good as possible. As I told Ali, the owner, this was one of the remarkable stay in my life although I travel a lot.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Atax Cave House! The hospitality was outstanding – the staff were always present, available, and genuinely tried their best to help us with anything we needed. Their kindness really made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, varied, and full of local flavors – a perfect way to start each day. The rooms were very comfortable, combining the charm of the cave experience with modern comfort. One of the most memorable moments was waking up early and watching the hot air balloons rise over Cappadocia right from the hotel terrace – the view was simply breathtaking.
