Positive: This was our third stay at Ascot house and it never fails to deliver. Clean, comfortable and a short walk to York Minster. Excellent breakfast including GF choice.

Negative: Room was a little noisy at night from room above walking

Summary: Much better than a corporate hotel - will stay again next year

Negative: The room was a lot smaller than we realised it felt a little suffocating.

Positive: Location was good 15 minutes walk into the centre, breakfast was excellent, piping hot!! And delicious! The staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend staying here 👌

Negative: The room was lovely and comfortable but a bit on the small size.

Positive: Traditional, well presented, friendly atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful view from our room, 15 minutes walk into city, clean and comfortable, easy to find, private parking.

Negative: The steps to our room were quite steep (as we were on the top floor). Absolutely not a problem for us but maybe less accessible for others.
