Vernon Township is in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. Summary: Everything was wonderful. This was my second time at the Appalachian. For this particular room I'd just suggest a window covering over the window/door to patio. It gets quite bright if someone is trying to sleep on the sofa or for watching tv during the day.

Summary: We stayed at the condo bc the hotel where my daughter’s dance comp was booked. The condo was exactly what we needed! I have a 3 month old and the kitchen was a huge plus with heating up her milk. The beds were very comfortable and the room itself was spacious and clean! I will definitely stay here again if we are ever up in the area again.
