Positive: Very nice upstairs apartment in the charming village of Stara Fužina, very close to beautiful Lake Bohinj. All up-to-date appliances and amenities, fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy balcony with a great view of the nearby mountains and trees. Plenty of room for two to spread out and feel at home for a three-night stay, but would easily have accommodated a larger family, with beds in multiple rooms. The whole neighborhood is beautiful and walkable, with local restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance, and the lake itself is maybe a 10-15 minute walk. Host family was very nice, and made us feel welcome, like home away from home. Would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to Slovenia.

Negative: Hard to think of anything we didn't like. Comfortable, spacious, and a great value.

Summary: Well-appointed apartment in a beautiful mountain setting.

Positive: The location is excellent. Hikes on the doorstep and lake Bohinj an easy 10-15 minute walk. There are a couple of restaurants and a supermarket close by. The apartment itself was very comfortable, especially the day bed! Lovely views from the balcony and communication with Katja was quick and easy.

Positive: The location is very good, very nice view of the surrounding mountains, the town centre is close too. Got the top floor room which was very clean and spacious.

Negative: The location. Sorry to say, but it is a curse and a blessing really. There is nothing the owner can do sadly. We may have been very unlucky with the timing of our stay but still, we listened for tractors going up and down the steep street in front of the building early in the morning, EVERY morning from like 6am, and since the bedroom is at the front of the house AND there is a steep incline right in front of it AND this is the tractors' main route through the town, it was horrible to listen to. And don't get me started about those middle-life crisis motorcyclists who are cruising through these picturesque villages...

Summary: Very good, everything is close, but tractors and motorcyclists ruined it due to steep incline.
