Positive: This was one of our favorite accommodations during our Balkans visit! The top floor unit was beautiful! Vesna welcomed us with a bottle of homemade drink and had a pastry waiting outside our door the morning we left. We particularly appreciated her recommendation to hike to the canyon and up to the waterfall because otherwise we might have just spent a day driving rather than hiking the lovely Julian Alps!

Positive: I knew from the messages before my stay that Vesna was a very friendly and accommodating host and she turned out to be the loveliest host ever. She had a lot of information on things to do in the area and gave me the best personalised itinerary for walks according to the weather each day. She even got me to and from the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the dark and with all my luggage :) The apartment was even lovelier than the pictures. The most amazing view, really quiet, comfortable and super clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bed too! The village is gorgeous too and in a beautiful setting, right near the start to the wonderful Mostnica Gorge walk as well as a short walk from the lake. I would absolutely love to stay again!

Positive: Fantastic location, stunning scenery and beautiful walks from the apartment. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the lake. The balcony was a delightful place to sit out, with beautiful flower boxes all along it. Our hosts were so friendly, and gave us lots of excellent ideas for things to do.

Negative: Everything was good, nothing we didn’t like.

Summary: A wonderful place to stay in a glorious area, loved it!

Positive: We had booked the room at the top floor with a stunning view. Really one of the best views I have seen. Great room with all equipment you need. Comfortable bed, enough space, and great balcony. Last but not least, a lovely host who really is interested in you and want to make it the best stay as possible.

Negative: I could not think of something I dislike, it was all great.

Positive: The apartment was spotlessly clean in the delightful hamlet of Stara Fuzina. We had a lovely view of the lake and mountains. The host, Vesna, was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Vesna also went above and beyond, to provide us with umbrellas to manage the rain and help us with our washing. This was much appreciated.

Positive: This was probably the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfect and suited us! The owners are incredibly kind people – the lady sat down with us and gave us all kinds of tips for local trips (we followed all of her suggestions, and they were fantastic). Her husband even gave us a ride to the bus station in his free time when we were heading home. During our stay, we had great conversations with them, we could borrow bikes, and we were even welcome to use vegetables from their garden – AMAZING. The apartment itself was beautiful, with all the necessary amenities in the kitchenette (fridge, microwave, stove). We stayed on the top floor, so the bathroom had a skylight, and the balcony offered views of the lake, mountains, town, and garden. One evening there was a storm, and we thoroughly enjoyed it :) The location is also excellent – you definitely want to stay here, in Stara Fužina. It’s peaceful, with two shops nearby for all your needs, and there are markets on the square... The lake is about a kilometer away, and you’re right at the start of hiking trails or near the bus stop (unlike down by the lake, where it was noisy and crowded). We would stay here forever if we could :)
