Summary: First of all, Nancy is a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful and communicative during the booking process and leading up to our trip. She even answered several questions before I committed to booking. We were warned about predatory sales pitches during check in and throughout the stay but didn’t feel like we had it too bad. They definitely attempted to catch us post check in drinks (they literally send you to the bar for 15 minutes while they get the room ready). Luckily I had a wild toddler who required actual chasing and blocked the sales person from getting too far into a convo with me. It was an excellent technique lol. The rooms overall were very nice totally perfect for us. They provided a pack n play for my son. There was a private mini pool on the balcony which was wonderful, we loved it. Our room had a Mountain View (I think they did that so we’d ask for an upgrade and sit through a sales pitch), but it was a lovely view and even with some construction on that side we weren’t bothered. The rooms are pretty sound proofed and we mostly only noticed when the balcony doors were open. We did have ants in the kitchen and one of the bathroom, which weren’t not really that bad but to be honest had I known that we wouldn’t have booked. That being said again, it was fine and tolerable and didn’t actually bother us while staying. The only thing I think the property needs to invest in is some upgraded appliances. They have old phones that don’t work very well in the rooms, old as heck alarm clocks (seem useless these days), and no usb charging ports. Doesn’t seem like that would be too much to try and update in the rooms. The kitchen and kitchen tools were also dated, but they functioned just fine so it didn’t bother us. We loved walking the property it is so expansive and beautiful and lush. What a paradise. Wonderful pools and endless places to eat. I will be looking into possible ownership companies like RCI, it would be fun to go back on a big family trip. Highly recommend!

Summary: Nancy was amazing to work with on their timeshare. She did everything within her control to make it perfect. The property is huge and has hidden gems through the resort. It was in a perfect location to go any direction to PV or up to some of the tiny beach towns up north.

Summary: I've never traveled through a black hole, but sign me up if this is what's on the other side! The Grand Mayan exceeded our expectations. A spacious and clean suite, incredible customer service, friendly management throughout the entire property, excellent and varied cuisine choice, and beautiful pools and beach. I couldn't be more relaxed and happy about our stay. Highly recommend!

Summary: This is a beautiful and expansive resort to visit with a family. This was our second time staying at the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta and it did not disappoint. We rented a 2-bed unit that was plenty spacious for my family of 4. The grounds are very well maintained and there is so much to do for families. Renting from Nancy was a very easy process and she was extremely helpful throughout the process from the time I looked into availability up until it was time for our vacation. I recommend renting from Nancy!

Summary: This Vidanta location is located conveniently close to the airport in Puerto Vallarta. It was clean and comfortable as you should expect from a high scale resort. The staff is enormous and the acreage is also huge. The majority of the staff can communicate easily in English for those who do not speak Spanish. It is like a small city with thousands of people working inside. The grounds are meticulously manicured and very beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and service is great but can be expensive. We stayed in a master suite which is close to 2000 sqft with our 4 children, very comfortable. Room service is prompt. It's very safe as is the beach which is private. We stayed over Christmas 12/21-29 and although the resort was 100% booked it didn't seem overly crowded. 1 CON We did a day trip with Vallarta Adventures that required us to leave early in the morning and the carts didn't begin service until 7am. Luckily we were in the Grand Mayan a which is close to valet parking and taxis, we still were running through the paths to be sure we made it out of the resort on time. Some of the walkways were not lit at that time. The staff was a little confused (despite me speaking fluent Spanish) when asked about the day trip even though Vallarta Adventures sells them near the front desk. We have stayed at other Vidanta locations and are familiar with them being time shares. We always stay away from their sales presentations and strongly decline their offers of discounts at the resort or free meals and gifts. Vacation time there is far too valuable to waste in a sales meeting! Nancy was great in facilitating our reservation and offers great information and advice about the resort before staying. She worked to get an extra day so the stay would align with our airfare dates, thanks Nancy!
