Positive: A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Manager was very responsive to feedback and staff went the extra mile to attend to our needs, and give us the personal touch. This made for a five star experience. Food in the restaurant was delicious - particularly the fish soup - and breakfast buffet offered a good range of fresh produce (fruit, baked goods, fresh juices. charcuterie, cheese, cereals, yoghurt) and freshly cooked eggs. Other dishes were available at extra cost. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate, with beautiful view over the rugged coastline. We did a beautiful yoga / pilates class with Sophia and had relaxing massages with her twin sister! A dream team. There were some nice touches such as fresh fruit in the gym and in the lounge. On the last day we had complimentary pina coladas by the pool!

Negative: Any issues we had were ironed out quickly by an excellent manager. We appreciated this.

Positive: Staff were friendly, hotel is beautiful, spa was small but treatments were very good.

Negative: Staff were really friendly but service levels were pretty poor. Orders forgotten, long delays for drinks, reception never call you back , warm rose wine. Food was not great and all prepared for maximum margin . Avocado toast was just watery guacamole on semi warm bread. Suggest to eat out in Ericea

Positive: Our view from the junior suite was absolutely breathtaking. The food was delicious. We loved the sauna and ice bath! Also loved the electric bikes!

Positive: The location is unbelievable if you are looking to stay well out of town but with absolutely awe inspiring landscapes, coastal line, and views. Ericeira is within easy reach 6-7 minutes through picturesque and well maintained road.

Negative: Our room was over an hour late for check-in and when we finally got the room it was not the type of room that we booked. However, the hotel was able to upgrade us to a better room as a result.

Summary: Breathtaking views, helpful staff, gorgeous interior design.

Positive: Beautiful location, pool and sauna are stunning, staff are friendly.

Negative: The hotel is overall good but has a “nearly great” feel to it. The gym was very disappointing, restaurant expensive for the quality, no direct access to the beach and shower kept flooding! Our sea view room had a lovely terrace but unfortunately it lacked any privacy, with a walkway going right past and no fencing / hedging.
