Negative: Very old fashioned hotel which is unlikely to.appeal to everyone & it was very very expensive. Room was very basic without a TV or even a kettle or bedroom slippers.

Summary: High expectations which were dashed - disappointing experience Never again.

Positive: Beautiful, serene, chic hotel set in lush surroundings with a pool overlooking paddy fields. The house itself was an aristocratic manor house, and the owners have trodden the line of maintaining some historical character but keeping the interiors fresh, bright and modern. The staff are super friendly and on hand to help with anything. Journey into Kandy is an easy 20 min Uber ride -worth it for the peace and quiet. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was sublime, eating an excellent range of a la carte options to the sound of birdsong. Room was spacious and comfortable. I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

Negative: Literally nothing. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this is first class.

Positive: Adigar’s Manor is a stunning hotel set on beautiful grounds. The location is very peaceful but also has very easy access to Kandy. The food was delicious and generous. Pradeep especially looked after us very well during our stay. We are very grateful and really recommend the hotel.
