Positive: Room was clean and colourfully decorated. Air conditioning worked, which is a must in Taman Negara. Great location, with a superb iced coffee stall 50 meters away at the end of the road. All restaurants, shops and river trip departures + water taxi service across the river for rainforest trekking all within a 5min walk. Staff friendly and willing to provide advice when asked. We stayed i(2 people) in the quadruple room, which was fairly basic but great value for the money. Beds were comfortable.

Negative: Air-conditioning piping did leak in the wet room, but not a real concern. No fridge in the room.

Positive: The accommodation was as we expected - no issues at all. We were disappointed with the Taman Negara - sad that you could only walk on boardwalks without a guide. As a seasoned hiker we found this disappointing.

Negative: Not all cafes were open and we were there in peak season.

Summary: Been there once, no need to return.

Positive: Location is fantastic, the beds are comfortable, showerroom is spacious. Most of all the host is really friendly and the accommodation is perfectly clean.

Negative: Hooks or a small cabinet would be nice as there is no space to hang or store your stuff. The 2 bedroom is very small- we recommend booking a triple as they have a nice terrace.

Summary: Amazing - we recommand the triple room

Positive: The room was very clean, close to the Taman Negara park. Parking was provided. There were tea or coffee available all day for free. You could sit outside the room and enjoy coffee on a small terrace.

Negative: The room was small. We booked and paid for a room for three people (being two) just to have room which would be a bit larger. There were no shelf or anything we could put our clothes on. There were only two beds (if you book the room for three, otherwise just one) and a small coffee table in the room. Wifi was slow or not working most of the time. The electricity could be on only if you were in the room so you had to switch off A/C when leaving. It was super hot in the room every time we returned and took a lot of time to recool it.

Positive: Great location for Taman Negara Park, lots of eating options around. Lovely and clean and well maintained, great value for money. Easy check-in, and we were kindly let in early as our room was ready. Tea, coffee, and drinking water readily available. Comfortable beds and pillows, good shower, and nice to have a seating area out the front of our room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Negative: Nice to have: Room could be more bug proof (mosquito nets)

Positive: Abot is in a perfect location , just stroll down the hill and you are at the jetty to cross the river. Also close to restaurants, shops and bus terminal. It is basic but comfortable, good value for price.
