Positive: Location was really great and the owner was extremely helpful. He helped us to set up tours etc, gave us helpful advice and told us when one of the tours was not required because we could complete it ourselves. When we left he headed into town after us and ensured that we were able to catch our onwards travel
Negative: Sliding patio doors had slight gaps so a couple of bugs came in which is to be expected in a jungle area anyway.

Positive: Good value for money, especially for budget travelling. The facilities and rooms are nice. Shower is cold but with the hot weather it’s actually nice. Bed is very comfortable
Negative: The guesthouse is next to a mosque with speakers which turn on with the prayers, also very early in the morning.

Positive: Amazing Host who took care of everything! He was very helpful booking activities and brought you there with the car. The room was clean and comfortable and the Fan was nice and quiet.
Negative: The facilities are very basic. The door to the balcony didn't close properly and we had some ants in the bathroom but that was fine.

Positive: The staff were very friendly. Check-in and out was simple. I expected a rustic place to stay, but was surprised by the relative comfort of the bed. A mosquito net was hung over the bed, allowing us to sleep with the door open, allowing the cool breezes in. The bathroom was very basic and the shower was only cold water. After trekking in the jungle, this was not an issue. Located an easy walk into town or down to the river crossing, the lodge is well- located. There were bananas available to eat.
Negative: Billed as an eco lodge, they sell water in plastic bottles. The contradiction is concerning. Having a water refilling station would go a long way to reducing plastic waste. No other drinking water was provided, which was the first time we have experienced this in 2 months of travel in SE Asia. There was no way to make a cup of tea or coffee or boil water for drinking.
