Best pricing in town on day trips out on the Ocean. Snorkeling, Island exploring, Beach Picnics,Swimming Pigs, Ocean Swings, Swimming with and feeding stingrays Swimming with and feeding sea turtles), or Fishing all available.
The house is built in the old colonial island architectural style.
The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs with each having its own private bath. The master has a king bed and faces the beach and ocean with a sliding glass door leading out on to the balcony. Queen beds in the other 2 with each having its own bathroom.
Downstairs you will find the house has a large living area and kitchen all in one, with 10 ft ceiling that has great view of Ocean and Beach with 2 sliding glass doors leading out on to the porch followed by a 500 sq ft deck the deck. There is also another bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and another bath and laundry.
To get to the island you fly into North Eleuthera Airport. The airport code is ELH. We will arrange your transportation from the airport to the island with a shuttle company. Cost is only $20 per adult for both land and water Taxi and takes about 10 minute in Taxi followed by a 10 minute Ferry ride. Someone will meet you at the Ferry dock and take you to the house.
Flights are easily available from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta and Nassau. The airlines that service the island are Delta, American, United, Silver Airways< Aztec Airways, Bahamas Air, Pineapple air and Southern Air. If you choose to fly into Nassau there is 2 local airlines Pineapple Air and Southern air that have 3 flights daily from Nassau to North Eleuthera, morning, noon and afternoon.
In an attempt to make our property more affordable for smaller groups our pricing is based on 1-6 persons. Once correct amount is entered at booking correct price will be calculated. If changes are made to the number of guest home owner must be notified and applicable extra guest fee will have to be paid prior to arrival or access to the property will not be granted.

Summary: During our first visit to Spanish Wells in 2024 we learned 2 things. 1st, was that we were certain to return because it's such an amazing place, and 2nd, when we returned we wanted to stay at this cottage. Our recent stay with our family in February 2025, was literally a dream come true. The location on the beach, the gorgeous grounds, the sandy trails, the comfortable and roomy accommodations, the paddle-boards, the kayaks, the bikes, the golf cart, the raft, the beach chairs, the groomed sand, etc. all add up to the best place in Spanish Wells to create lasting memories! Beach walkers were often stopping and marveling at all the amenities we had at our fingertips. It's been a week since our return and we can't get over how wonderful our week was. We've learned over the last 2 years that Spanish Wells finds a place in the hearts of all who visit. Thanks Jody and family for providing this outstanding cottage. We will be back!

Summary: Jody and his wife are top shelf all the way! We felt as if we were in a 4 star resort at a fraction of the price. The house and location are phenomenal, the service from picking you up at the airport to arranging excursions, to making sure your section of beach is clean every morning was amazing. I swear Jody was at our place to respond to a question within two minutes of sending the text. The best overall Experience we have had at a rental ever. Thanks Pinders for an awesome time.

Summary: Had a wonderful in this house in Spanish Wells. I traveled with 12 adults and 3 infants and also rented the property next door Ocean Dreams. Every day the beach was set up with chairs and loungers. There was also covered areas available for those that wanted to get out of the sun. Jody and Tara had the best beach set up of any of the houses on the island. The house was immaculate, and everything was as described. We have stayed on the island before and these were definitely the best houses we have stayed in. The owners are locals, so they were available if we needed anything. They have an awesome landscaped area in front of the houses that they were setting up for Christmas.

Summary: Summer Sunset is a spectacular property, and Jody and Tara were such accommodating hosts. The property has everything needed for a great vacation! From meeting is at the dock when we arrived on Spanish Wells, they handled our transportation to the property and got us back to the dock upon departure. Any questions or needs that arose were answered immediately.

Summary: Jody and Tara are fantastic hosts, we have returned to Summer Sunset for eight years and thoroughly enjoyed every year. The close proximity to the beach chairs is our favorite morning coffee spot. There is a well supplied kitchen and nice deck for evening lounging. Our grandchildren loved miles of great sand beaches. My current health conditions won't allow us to return next year though we hope to return again the following.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Captain Jodie and Tara’s beach house - they always have great hospitality! The house is very roomy, tastefully decorated and has a very well equipped kitchen. The views of the beach are stunning, especially from the second floor master bedroom. The beach setup is great with plenty of chairs and includes kayaks. Be sure to go on a boat charter with Captain Kid and Son - so much fun.

Summary: Me and my husband stayed here for 1 week and already can’t wait to go back! It was our favorite vacation. Tara was such a great host and made everything so easy from meeting us at the dock to help with our luggage to responding to every question we had so quickly. The house was perfect and had everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the floating docks and kayaks and the beach is absolutely gorgeous! We can’t wait to visit again!
