Yes we survived the Camp Fire. Set back from Humbug Road, we have created a Forest sanctuary, quiet and peaceful with the sounds of the birds in the trees . Our home has a second unit that we call 'the apartment'. This two bedroom 1 bath comes completely furnished, with a stocked kitchen with coffee maker, washer/dryer, Smart tv. Both bedrooms have a full xl size bed. Our internet service is via Starlink, ATT & Verizon work well for cellular service. We do allow a maximum of two pets, and we require that you do not leave the pet unattended in the unit longer than an hour.

Summary: This property had everything i needed. Kim was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful property in the woods. Does get tricky at night driving into there as light on roads is non existence. And dont follow Google maps when it tells you turn on Toms trail, that is someone elses property. Would definitely cme back with my family.

Summary: Very comfortable with all you need except your grocery choices. Amazing array of spices. That shower head is unforgetable and the pillows so comfy we wanted to steal them. No, we didn't. Still there for your enjoyment. We will definitely stay again.

Summary: The location is about 30 minutes from Chico and the drive along Skyway reminded me of the Grand Canyon.in places. The property sits in the middle of the forest with views of the River below. I could watch the horses from my room, Kim & Baron are lovely and very considerate you have a peaceful stay. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and more! The patio table perfect for morning coffee, evening relaxing and conversations! The evening sky was full of stars for gazing.

Summary: We (husband, adult sons, 2 dogs and myself)went to Magalia the weekend of the epic heat wave! Hosts Kim and Baron added a 2nd AC and had it cooling things off before we arrived which made a huge difference. The apartment was perfect size, comfy beds and the area quiet and beautiful. We appreciated the accommodations made for our dogs as well! Other little touches of drinks and frozen pizza so kind and the well stocked spices a lovely touch. We hope to come back again and explore more of the area. Thank you so much Kim and Baron!
