Set in a quiet, tranquil location in an acre of ground which provides a safe environment for children to play in, the cottage has a large open plan living area, with character beams and a stone feature fireplace with a gas woodburner-effect stove, perfect for cooler evenings. The living area incorporates a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen and dining table, with a stable door opening onto a small gravelled patio with seating, ideal for relaxing on a balmy summer's day whilst enjoying the superb views towards the river. Upstairs are three bedrooms, all boasting views over fields and hills. The immediate area has a good network of public footpaths, with one leading from the doorstep, whilst a short stroll brings you into this popular village, with excellent facilities including a renowned butcher, village shop and a local pub serving food and real ale. Enjoy a relaxed day rowing or salmon and trout fishing on the River Esk, or why not stop for afternoon tea in the riverside café? Children will love a day beside the river feeding the ducks, or a ride on the miniature steam railway. A five-minute drive brings you into the hustle and bustle of popular Whitby, with its sandy beaches, historic harbour and famous abbey. Ruswarp has a regular bus service, and the single track railway has regular steam trains running through!
