Positive: Everything! Its a lovely, roomy, self contained unit, complete with a huge private deck just for you! Huge bed, very quiet, little touches like homemade cakes left for you each day. Vegetarian breakfast was very good and brought to you in the self contained unit! Parking is off street. I had come to see family but was also working and there was plenty of space to set up my laptop with strong wifi Good walking/ running for those inclined , the 360 views are fabulous and its a pleasure to watch the wildlife around. I loved staying here

Positive: Lovely quiet location with a beautiful country view. Bedroom was huge with private entrance and bathroom. We had everything we needed for our two night stay - comfy bed, peaceful at night, good shower, tea and coffee making facilities. Ali was the most fabulous host. She made us feel very welcome and was so thoughtful. Her breakfasts and daily bakes are fantastic. She gave us great local recommendations for walks, visits and food that were all great. Absolutely great place to stay if you’re visiting Whitby and the local area.

Positive: Ali and Pete are great hosts and this is an excellent property in a beautiful location. We enjoyed having our own front door into our accomodation. Both bedroom and shower room are extremely well-presented, organised and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are served in the room and are delicious, made with fresh produce and offering lots of choice. We were greeted at the end of each day with home baking, which we enjoyed on our private verandah, with views over the fields onto cattle, deer, steam trains and the viaduct in the distance. The village pub is friendly and serves good food, and Whitby is a pretty 30 minute walk, a short drive or a 6 minutes train journey away. We had a great holiday at Glen View!
