Positive: The cottage itself was fine, clean and comfortable.

Negative: Lack of communication with the owner , (5 times I rang and was only greeted by an answemachine! )and the fact that we were over and hour waiting to get into the property ( and only then because we asked one of the cleaners from another cottage otherwise we would have been out in the freezing cold for longer! ) It completely ruined my Christmas.

Positive: Location. Scenery and the sounds of the river nearby. The host was very accomodating and friendly. Place was clean and had everything we needed for a week's break. Beautiful gardens.

Positive: Good spaces and facilities. Beautiful location. I’d love to go back when the weather’s a little better!

Negative: Access up the steps and around the back was a bit fiddly but ok once we got luggage in/out. Instructions on the heating would have saved time (and probably electricity). Similarly with the cooker which had unfamiliar controls.

Summary: Lovely place to stay and will probably go again.

Negative: Single track Road a bit unnerving but had no problems. Some local information on how to get to hand ferry and walk to Biblins bridge would have been useful.
