Positive: Lovely chalet, with a neat enclosed courtyard, completely as described. Parking in the courtyard. Swimming pool. A whole pack of bottled drinking water. Very friendly host, you can see he has a heart for the chalet and the guests. Sent a list of sights, clearly explained that on jebel ash sham can go up on 2d (we saw how frightened by forums tourists went several kilometers on foot), and then separately asked if we all ok. Chalet is in the old town, right behind the wall. The price/quality ratio is excellent, I recommend it. We regret that we stayed only one night.

Positive: The name is accurate; it is an Oasis! The courtyard is beautiful and is so very peaceful! It would be easy to come and just relax for your whole stay. But there are also things to do in Bahla and the surrounding area. Our family of five was very comfortable in this home! There are two bedrooms. One with a king size bed and one with three single beds. Both bedrooms have bathrooms. There is a kitchen with everything we needed. We did not cook in the kitchen, so I cannot speak to how well equipped it was for that. The host had waters in the fridge upon arrival and had their employee come over when we arrived to show us the details about the pool and other things around the property. The host will communicate via What's App (as did all the other places we stayed in Oman). We kept in contact to let them know when we would arrive. They also sent us numerous links via What's App for things to do in the area and restaurants. We visited Bahla Fort; we went in the evening and it was beautifully lit up. We also went to the Pottery Factory, which was very cool and had amazing prices for their pottery (cash only)! The historic souk was beautiful, but most of the stores were closed when we walked through in the evening. You will need cash to pay for the stay, so come prepared for that. Overall, during our whole stay in Oman, we found the Omani people so very welcoming and kind! The hosts here were no different! Even over the phone, they were accommodating and friendly!

Negative: The beds are pretty hard by westerner standards, but it was the same in all the places we stayed in Oman. It really is just part of the experience.

Positive: It’s great to have a beautiful garden and private swimming pool and swings included outside the house. Excellent for friends gathering and photo taking. The host is very friendly and helpful to solve the problems and offer good advice of travelling plan for all the must see beautiful sceneries of Nizwa and Jabal Shams.

Negative: The facilities inside the house especially the kitchen are a bit old and insufficient.

Summary: A nice hA holiday house with nice private swimming pool in Bahla, good for group of 5-6 people.

Positive: Very good location, beautiful garden with external table/chairs and pool with showers and lights. Unusual in the center of Bahla! The hosts are very kind and give you any type of info you may need, they are really very helpful! Highly recommended!
