Positive: Nicely restored house in the old part of Al Hamra. Room was small but clean and comfortable. The owner is a very friendly man who explained about the house and what was in it.

Positive: Such a great place to stay - in a beautifully restored historical building in the heart of an old town, beside the green gardens of the falaj. The owner is so friendly and generous and has many interesting facts to share about the property and life in Oman. Comfy bed and the best pillows.

Negative: The breakfast being at the other hotel wasn’t a problem, we loved the walk over there in the morning but the food itself wasn’t the best and they forgot us on the last morning :(

Positive: Homestay is just within the ancient Al Hamra Village, thoughtfully renovated and decorated by the owner. Near to Misfat Al Abriyeen, Bahla, Nizwa, and Jebel Shams. The Al Habil Park offers panoramic views of the old city, mountains, and date palms. A must visit indeed. Parking is a bit tedious but manageable. You can also park at the bottom area and walk 2 mins to the hotel.

Summary: One of the reasonable, simple, and beautiful stays in Al Hamra.

Positive: Loved this accomodation! The owner was very friendly. Omani coffee and dates on arrival and the owner talked through the history. The accomodation is in old Al Hamra. Breakfast 10min walk away in lovely area. Very good value for money. Fantastic views from the roof.

Negative: Don't snib the door with the security lock. We got locked out and needed the owner to get a ladder to enter via the balcony. He was very kind and helpful about it.

Positive: Very charming typical old house. Very clean, authentic and with all the comfort you need. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Thank you for the delicious fruits. Breakfast is also in a very beautiful place.

Positive: The authentical house. The evenings on the rooftop and the breakfast. very nice owner. By renting this house the Tourist makes a contribution in the presevation of historical buildings.

Positive: Very nice and authentic accommodation, exceptional breakfast and host was nice.

Negative: Have to give some minus point as the owner really pushed me to make give a rating (got a call on a Sunday at 6:30 a.m. from the owner to remind me) and this is actually not acceptable. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay.
