Summary: We needed a quick weekend spot to stay while my wife ran a race in the area. Fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, coffee, etc) comfy couch and giant TV. Washer and drier, plus 2 window AC units which more than cool the house. Plus a 1UP Pacman arcade machine in the Kitchen for some post dinner gaming,. Our host was super nice, leaving firewood in case we wanted to have a fire after the run, as well as giving us warning with the remnants of the Hurricane that were coming our way and the best ways to drive out of the area. 100% would stay again.

Summary: Although our trip was short, it very much exceeded expectations! The house was wonderful for my wife and I to separate ourselves from our hectic city lifestyle and gave us the chance to just slow down and appreciate having nothing scheduled for the day. Regardless of if we were hiking on the various local trails, sitting out back on the property gazing at the countless stars, or being lazy and doing puzzles in front of the fireplace, we had the opportunity to be re-grounded and re-energized. The house has absolutely everything you would need from countless puzzles and board games to local publications (to help you scout out finding an oasis of your own) if you wanted to stay in, but also provided information of the local area if you wanted to go out an explore. We loved our time here and absolutely look forward to coming back!

Summary: Rikki and Jay are amazing hosts. The place was perfect to get to Lake Placid and snowshoeing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view from the kitchen window was amazing.
