Summary: We loved our stay at this VRBO. Location was beautiful and quiet. Perfect after long days of hiking. Loved view off balcony and trekked down to water. Very clean and stocked with necessities and also some extra food stuff/ice I didn't think about. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Property was very clean, nicely appointed, and in a fabulous location. A rocky river is within 100 or so feet from the cabin. Additionally, Lake Placid is 20 minutes away. If you like to hike you'll find trailheads about every mile in the High Peaks area.

Summary: The VIEW! We were in awe of the amazing view of the river and mountains from the cabin during our entire visit! We had a fun little adventure going down the steep ravine to get to the water with our two bigs dogs, but it was well worth it! Everything about this place is wonderful, both inside and out. I liked being in such a quiet and secluded location while still close enough to all the things we wanted to do and see - Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge, a gondala ride and hiking. The cabin is even better than what you see in the pictures. I would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We enjoyed staying here. How we wish we stayed for more days. It’s very peaceful. My husband likes to sit at the back to see the sunset. And of course it is close to lake placid, Ausable chasm and high fall George. We will plan to go back.
