Positive: The hosts provided milk, bread and cookies which is always a nice touch. The property is nice and quiet and in the country which is what we wanted for our grandchildren who live in the city of London. The outhouse was a bonus as we had some quiet time there when needed. Games like croquet were provided which kept the children occupied

Negative: Nothing really except please make sure you carry body wash and shampoo.

Summary: Great place to have a holiday with children as the location is good, not far from Scarborough beach

Positive: The location sets it apart, space, the views and peace and quiet. The hosts left us home comforts and refreshments including fresh bread. Horses and cattle in surrounding fields. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The summer house was a great place to watch the sunset. Dishwasher, great shower, beautifully kept gardens. Birdwatching was a treat for all our party, 2 years old to 68. Eggs and jam can be purchased at the farm next door.

Negative: We would request an earlier booking in time next visit.

Positive: Cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely and great to have books games and puzzles. The setting for the cottage is absolutely beautiful. An ever changing view from a frosty morning to sunshine. Lovely to watch the birds in the garden whilst cooking. Not too far from beaches, forests, moors and Scarborough. Great places to eat nearby.

Positive: The cottage is just beautiful. The location could not be anymore idyllic, the gardens are kept beautiful. There is an outdoor summer house that has the most amazing views as do all the windows. The cottage itself is so homely and has literally EVRYTHING you could possibly need for your stay. The 2 pints of milk in the fridge and packet of biscuits to welcome you are so thoughtful. It's clean, it's tidy, it's comfortable, its spacious - perfect!

Positive: We had a very relaxing stay there. Far from busy environment, surrounded by fields and hills with beautiful sunsets. The cottage was very cosy and clean. Kids were allowed to play ball games in a front garden. Summer house was lovely.
