Positive: The apartment was well located with easy travel into the city centre. There was a welcome pack with fresh food supplied for breakfast. The apartment was spacious and well equipped.

Negative: There was a slight mix up with the bedding but it was quickly sorted out by the host

Positive: Very clear instructions on arriving including a photo of the gate to the property. The rooms were as shown on the site but are so spacious compared to hotels room. Very grand. There was an extensive welcome package of food and drinks. The kitchen also had a coffee pod machine. The bathrooms were large and beautifully tiled. The showers worked very well and there was instant hot water. The lounge had 3 large sofas but we found them a little low for our old knees! We mostly sat round the kitchen table. The garden has tables and chair which we enjoyed sitting the sun.

Negative: West Mayfield is a Brit further out from the city centre than we like but is well served by buses. We used taxis mostly due to walking disability.

Summary: Very pleasant grand house to return to after a day at the Edinburgh Festival.

Positive: The location of this home was perfect. Close to bus stops and often only needed one bus to where we were going ie Harbour, Royal Mile, Leiths Walkway, Arthur's Seat.

Negative: When doing laundry only had a washing machine, no dryer. Laying out clothes to dry took many hours which was tough when in a hurry. However there was a laundry mat not far away.

Positive: Location was brilliant. Large living room and good sized kitchen. Owner left us a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated, and was super friendly and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Positive: Our host May was very welcoming and provided a few breakfast essentials and a lovely cake. The home was comfortable and quiet with a good range of kitchen equipment and a lovely lounge room.
