Positive: Location is great, Indiana - your desk person was great. The bed and living room were comfortable.

Negative: The bathroom needs LOTS of fixing. The height of the toilet is for a five year old. Adults just fall down onto it and struggle getting up. You need a taller toilet. The shower is HORRIBLE - the shower head needs to be replaced and repositioned. The head is too high. I could not reach. My husband “adjusted it for me…which is a stretch. The head does not properly wet/rinse anyone taking a shower. The tile around the tub needs to be properly cleaned to remove the mold and mildew. Several of the shutters throughout the room need to be repaired and/or replaced.Be careful touching the lower shutters on the right side of the bedroom window…you will get splinters in your hands! Attention to detail is needed. Spend a night there and see for yourself!

Positive: I loved the old world charm of the hotel right down to the old phone booth in the lobby. The history of the hotel includes Jimmy Carter of course but also FDR making speeches from the former balcony. The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean and comfortable. A perfect place to stay.
