Positive: Beautiful farm with stunning views and thoughtful designed spaces. Comfortable beds, high quality towels, best quality appliances. Personal touches that made it better than a hotel or almost any other short term rental I’ve stayed in. The pond with tubes and pallet boards was so so nice, we swam everyday. Extremely peaceful and comfortable. Loved every moment there!

Positive: Wild Candy Farm is an incredible place. My Mom and I were completely blown away, and we’re still talking about it weeks later. We came for a nature escape and a birthday celebration, and we left feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and awestruck. Every detail of the property and experience is thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. The setting is gorgeous — refreshingly remote yet just 10 minutes from charming Wimberley. Standouts for us include the stunning architecture, décor, and views, the light-filled yet cozy space, the impeccably stocked kitchen, the serene pond, the well-marked trails, and the warm, knowledgeable hosts. It truly feels like a complete experience, with even more on the way (a spa). We could have easily arrived with groceries and never left, though we loved exploring Wimberly. Tell your friends...but don't.

Negative: It wasn’t entirely clear from the description or photos that the unit shares a common space with another. It turned out fine since the neighboring unit was empty, but it was a bit of a surprise on arrival. Would be perfect for a larger family or group of friends to book together.

Positive: We loved the abundance of cooking supplies and the high quality items the house was stocked with. The bedding, utensils, appliances. Everything was truly luxurious! Anything that wasn’t supplied (which was slim to nothing) you can get from right up the road at a grocery store because this stay is tucked away on a ranch but still close to town. The lighting here during the day is incredible. It was very honestly the most beautiful stay and I almost don’t want to leave a review so we can keep it all to ourselves!

Negative: There was a lot of tea, but surprisingly no coffee except for instant coffee packs. There was a coffee grinder and coffee pot so we just bought our own from the HEB around the corner.

Summary: Nicest stay I’ve been to in the hill country.
