Positive: What a beautiful location! We were a bit skeptical as we drove up the long hill but oh my, what a sweet surprise! The home was well equipped and very clean. Coffee was supplied for the coffee pot but no pods for the Keruig, which was not a big deal. Comfortable bed and again stellar views from the bedroom and living room. Hot tub was clean. We only needed this for one night but we will be back!

Positive: The location and view were beautiful. Very clean and easy access in and out of the house. Very close to the town of Wimberley. We would have enjoyed the deck a little more if it was a little quieter on Saturday.

Negative: We were very unhappy with the construction that was happening right above us starting early in the morning on Saturday. We could hear the rocks hitting the top of the house and we could see and hear the men working all day right above the house! A lot of loud noise and digging and machines! At one point we also had a dog chase us barking into the driveway when we pulled in and got home from dinner.

Positive: The location on the hill was gorgeous and peaceful. We liked that there was not a close by neighbor - super remote feeling. The bed was super comfortable. The place was spacious enough for two. Lots of towels and washer dryer was nice. We would gladly stay here again.

Negative: The hot tub had a weird / off-putting smell; we called and it was serviced promptly and we appreciated. The following are just minor things, but if I were the property owner, I would want to know. We have stayed at A LOT of Air bnbs and have seen a lot of little perks along the way that make the stay feel special. The coffee cup situation was lacking - 5 out of the 6 had significant cracks / chips which make them seem dirty. The cabinet under the sink with garbage was not super clean - maybe add shelf paper there? For a 5 star romantic getaway - offer a complimentary welcome basket with local wine and a resource book. Robes would be super nice since the hot tub is there. The rocking chairs on the porch were nice and the hammock was awesome, but the other chairs on the porch were uncomfortable. The decor inside is just ok - a little hodge podgeish and needs updating. Again, nothing huge overall. This location has the potential to be top rated! We were saying that we would love to buy it in a few years when our kids are out of college and we have a little more cash flow.
