Positive: Lovely cottage. Whilst kitchen was modern, there are some lovely nods to the history of the cottage for example the dresser in the bedroom. The cottage was clean and had everything we could need. It was lovely to be able to bring the dog also. Our host left a lovely apple tart for us on arrival and treats for the dog which was a lovely touch. Beds were very comfortable. Host couldn’t have been better answering any questions. A good base for the local area

Positive: Beatiful cottage carefully renovated with lots of character! We loved it. It is countryside surrounded by nature (cows, sheep, and lovely hills) and close to many nice sights.

Negative: A dryer would have been handy for drying the clothes as the weather was not so nice.

Summary: Just go there, you will not regret it!

Positive: Lot's of nice little touches, and host very friendly without being over-bearing. Location was amazing; rural but close enough to town so that it was possible to nip out for meals and groceries.

Negative: We were there during Euros and the TV seemed to have a few issues, (although admittedly I may just have not been hitting the right buttons!?)

Positive: There was a wonderful welcome box when we arrived filled with breads, eggs and other goodies in case we were to tired to get grocery! Fresh flowers in most of the rooms which made us feel very welcome. Lots of windows so plenty of light in all the rooms. Suggestions from previous guests too. Would love to go back.
