Positive: The host safeer and ananthu, both gem of a host. The rooms were slightly small but cutel. There is no table to keep the suitcases. No room service but the breakfast was nice and cute. . It is a very isolated property. A nice property but should be a last option.

Positive: Rooms are spacious and clean, and they have everything that you need. Anandhu and his team are very, very helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed our few days with them, and we would use them again if in the area. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the hosts, Ms. Amanpreet Kaur (co-founder along with actor Mr. Sudev Nair) and their team, made us feel completely at home. Aman is a wonderful host - kind, thoughtful, and empathetic. She even went out of her way to help us by taking care of our pet for an entire day while we visited the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Jatayu Earth Centre, which don’t allow pets. That gesture alone speaks volumes about her hospitality. The retreat is not just welcoming, but also spotlessly maintained. From fresh linens to sparkling clean washrooms, everything reflected the team’s care and attention to detail. It’s a place where you instantly feel comfortable and relaxed. Every morning began with a healthy, home-style breakfast - fresh fruits, original juices, and wholesome cooking that felt both light and satisfying. The retreat is just a short walk from the beach, has convenient car parking, and gives you the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and homeliness. What made the stay truly special wasn’t just the location or the amenities - it was the people. Aman, Sudev, their adorable pets Nero and Ishtu, and the ever-smiling guest manager Anandhu ensured we didn’t just have a stay, but an experience filled with warmth, care, and memories to cherish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful beach retreat in Varkala—with or without pets!
