The soaring, two-story, contemporary living area has plenty of space for your whole group to unwind and spend time together. Plush, overstuffed sofas face a flatscreen television that’s mounted to a crisp white shiplap wall. Kick back here in the evenings with some snacks and a favorite movie. Glass accent tables and stylish armchairs complete this comfy, modern space.
The kitchen is laid out in an efficient u-shape and features quartz countertops with a tiered peninsula bar. Flip a stack of fluffy banana pancakes in the mornings, or mix a batch of frozen margaritas at happy hour— the kitchen is fully equipped to handle it all. The bar space has seating for four people, while the dining table has seating for eight. A half bath and laundry room are located around the corner.
Down the hallway from the living area, the master bedroom has a king-size bed. The attached ensuite bathroom has a separate shower, soaking tub, and marble-topped vanity. Upstairs on the third level, there are three more bedrooms— each with their own private, attached bathrooms. The first bedroom has two queen-size beds and a twin-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and access to the third-floor deck space overlooking the canal. The third bedroom on this floor has a king-size bed and twin-over-full bunk bed.
On the ground level, a fifth bedroom that doubles as a game room has a full-over-queen built-in bunk space, flatscreen television, and a bar top table for card games or board games. This room is connected to the main house through an interior staircase. Outside, there’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day of fishing or hanging out at the beach. The covered dock space has a slip for parking your boat. Make sure to bring your fishing gear— there’s great fishing in the canal. And the Terramar Beach access point is a quick 2-minute drive from the home.

Summary: A group of 18 of us recently stayed at a beach house in Galveston, and while it is a beautiful property with great potential, my experience was marred by several issues that ultimately made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.Upon arrival, we noticed that several small details needed attention. For instance, half of the toilet paper rolls were broken, which was a minor inconvenience but indicative of a lack of upkeep. Additionally, we found trash left in the arm of a chair on the deck, and there were sticky red streaks on the kitchen wall that suggested it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned.One of the more concerning discoveries was a peeled, moldy orange in the main bedroom, along with dirty sheets on the bed. When we reached out for assistance regarding the sheets, we were informed that new ones wouldn't be available until the next day, which was disappointing and we had to wash them ourselves. Safety was also a concern, as the door to the house did not lock properly, leaving us uneasy about our travel documents and personal belongings. The most frustrating issue, however, was the inconsistent hot water for the showers. With four showers available, we expected to be able to use at least two at a time, but that wasn’t the case. One shower never got warm at all, making it difficult for everyone to get ready comfortably.While the beach house has a lot of charm and a lovely location, these accumulated issues made our stay less satisfactory.

Summary: We came in the night before our cruise and it was great! We had 9 adults and everyone was able to sleep comfortably. The host was very responsive to any question or concern we had. Check out process was easy and simple.

Summary: Super spacious home on a beautiful canal. The house was a little worn down but it was what we needed for a quick getaway. We rented a gold cart and the beach was a quick drive away! Plenty of parking, we fished off the deck (with the correct fishing license), the balcony was super relaxing and peaceful.

Summary: we stayed here for a night and we had a blast! the house was clean and comfortable for us. so so close to the beach we went and walked it a few times. We did some hot dogs and burgers on the grill provided which was nice since we do not have one at home at the moment. We we able to easily fit all 3 of our cars here. Pet friendly too and right on the bay!

Summary: Overall property was great. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. Large kitchen but no staples included. No dishrags but there was one sponge. Game room was just beds with a table and tv. Games would have been nice but none were supplied. No cleaning supplies whatsoever. There was a broom but no dustpan. Owner was quick to respond but very rigid in regards to number and ages of people staying at home. Entry code wasn’t provided until we arrived at the home. Would probably stay again.
