You have found the perfect location to enjoy a wonderful beach getaway with your family and friends! This magical getaway is located across the street from the beach. The beautiful ocean views are endless and amazing. It is a short walk to the before you can have your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand. While at the beach house you will enjoy listening to the waves while you relax on the hammock, one of the tall Adirondack chairs(which offer an even better beach view), or lounging on the patio furniture. There are two wonderful outdoor dining tables on the upper and lower deck for you to enjoy a freshly grilled meal from the provided grill. There is a large fenced-in yard where you can enjoy playing outdoor games or playing fetch with your dog.
The cozy beach house has high ceilings, an open floor plan, and a large sectional that will welcome you upon arrival. The recently renovated kitchen and dining area are the perfect places to gather with friends, prepare meals, play games and enjoy time with one another. The large island offers seating for four while the dining table allows seating for 6.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and an outdoor shower. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and private ensuite that was also recently renovated. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed and shares the second bath with the third bedroom. Bedroom 3 has a wonderful bunk room that sleeps 7. It has a full over full bunk and a twin over twin with trundle.
The Terramar neighborhood has vehicle beach access at the front of the neighborhood where you can unload your beach supplies for the day and set up for a day of adventures. Not only is the beach easily accessible, but this lovely community also offers a beautiful communal pool, fishing pier, boat ramp, and covered gazebo. There are so many choices for your entire group and there is something for everyone.
The beach is amazing but the city of Galveston also has so much to offer. Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and the Pleasure Pier are some of our guest's favorites. The historic Strand district offers great shopping, dining, strolling, and La Kings Ice cream and candy store.

Summary: We had a great time the beach was in walking distance less then 3 mins and is so beautiful, there is a really big log you can sit on in the water perfect for the kids. (Still with adult supervision) I like that there wasn’t a lot of tourists so it was much cleaner then other areas. There is alot of wood and seaweed but it can easily be moved to the side. As for the house it was very beautiful and as described in the description. Plenty of space for all 7 of us and they are pet friendly. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils, plates, and cups you will need for your stay. Everything was clean when arriving and they offered a few extra things like soaps for hygienes and to wash clothes also cleaning supplies. Games were also available keeping the kids occupied when not at the beach. Over all I definitely recommend this place with Kathy. Thank you!!!

Summary: My husband and I stayed at Sunny and Chair for four nights with our baby (7 months) and two dogs. We had the best time. Part of that was because of the close proximity to the beach and the house was extremely comfortable. They had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The house was clean and spacious. We could see the sun set every evening from the deck and the seating below the deck made for a nice breezy hangout spot as well. My husband and some family that were staying down the road were able to go fishing at night. The marina had lights and was not crowded. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay. The large backyard was great for them to run around and play. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable stay!

Summary: We loved the location of this property. The view was great! The host was quick to reply when needed and even let us add a day on to check in early last minute. The home did have plenty of room and a great deck for our party of 8 but it did feel pretty tired. The doors were all very loud to open and close and woke everyone in the house up, the bathrooms didn’t have enough towels and some of them were sour, overall it was a little dirty and dingy. They also no longer had a propane grill on the property which was a major selling point to us and wasn’t communicated to us ahead of time so that was a bummer.

Summary: Very pleased with our stay and accommodations. Home was clean, well maintained and gorgeous views of the ocean. Great location and easy to get to. Family friendly, perfect for my 3 year old son, parents and 2 dogs as well. Kathy was very responsive and informative. Would highly recommend this home to family and friends!

Summary: Ideal location for our dogs. Large, secure and relatively quiet back yard, and they love soaking up the sun on the deck. Short walk to the beach and you can hear the surf much of the time. Clean and pretty well stocked with items most guests will need. Probably not the best location for active families looking for quick access to Galveston entertainment, but that's not what we were after.
