Fishing and Relaxing paradise awaits, breathtaking sunrise and moonlight from your private hottub on the back deck, steps from the water. Tandem kayak is included. You can fish, kayak, or wade right from the back yard! We've caught drum, flounder, shrimp, etc. Master has a king size nectar bed and an amazing view of the water from the picture windows. 3 miles to beach, 13 miles to Aquarium, & 13 miles to Camp Lejeune. The road is close but once you exit your vehicle, you feel like you are in your own lil paradise.
Historic downtown Swansboro is 1/4 mile walk, (waterfront dining, shops, candy/Ice cream shop). We are 3 miles from the beach, and 13 miles from the Aquarium, and only 15 miles from Camp Lejeune.

Sleeping Arrangements: 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. King bed sleeps 2, Twin beds sleep 2, Couch sleeps 1, one Queen air mattress sleeps 2, and pullout sofa in sunroom sleeps 2. Please remember that there is only ONE bathroom.
Completely remodeled with brand new appliances and furnishings, you will have a beautiful place to make vacation memories. Close to everything, 10 miles to Jacksonville, 13 miles to Camp Lejeune, 3 miles to Emerald Isle, 19 miles to Cherry Point, and 2 miles to Walmart.
Our home does sit on a fairly busy road, but the parking is on the side and the smart lock is on the back door. Therefore you never need to use the front door, and you feel very secluded.
There is adequate parking for 2-3 vehicles.
Our home does sit on a fairly busy road, so we do want you to know that. We have installed a child safety lock on the front door and you really don't ever need to use the front door as the smart lock is on the back porch, and parking is on the side. Once you park you feel very secluded.

There are beautiful shops and restaurants within walking distance. Swansboro has amazing parks ,views and history. On Front street there is a must-visit ice cream and candy shop. The beautiful Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium only 19 miles away. Historical Fort Macon is only 25 miles away. Beaches are 3 miles away. Camp Lejeune is 13 miles away, and Cherry point Marine base is 19 miles away. Jacksonville is only 10 miles away. We are on a major road, and you will hear some traffic, but once you enter the driveway you literally feel like you are on your own little paradise. That is no exaggeration, it is AMAZING! The fishing from the back is incredible, I have filled several buckets of shrimp, caught reds, black drum, flounder, eels, rays, and even puffer fish.

Cherry Point - 19 miles
Jacksonville - 10 miles
Downtown Swansboro - 1/4 mile
There is lots to do in Swansboro and much of it is within walking distance. Restaurants of all types, boutique shops, kayak rentals, fresh seafood market.

An amazing place to enjoy the water. Relaxation and unbeatable views! The gorgeous sunroom has 3 sliding doors for unhindered water views. VIEWS from the hot tub and deck furniture are amazing!
HOT TUB -
1. When hot tub is not in use, please keep cover on as the heat can drop quickly in Cold weather.
2. Please wipe feet before entering hot tub.
The full size air mattress & Sheets is in the twin bedroom closet.
Please make sure to use a hot pad for anything hot placed on the dining table.
Please use a coaster on the coffee table and end tables.

Summary: We stayed at this house for a week with our dogs and had a great time! The setup for kayaking and fishing was fantastic and definitely met our expectations. As newcomers to North Carolina, we didn't realize that the property was just a few yards from the freeway, so the noise level was a bit higher than we anticipated. Also, the bedroom with twin beds doesn't have A/C, which made it a little warm at night for our guests. Despite these minor points, we were happy with the property overall and enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Conveniently located right between Swansboro and Emerald Isle. Very close to Pogies and the marina and right around the corner from the downtown waterfront restaurants and the state park.

Summary: Jonathan was a great host and communicated everything very fast and efficient! The cottage is super cute and cozy , the views amazing, Hot-tub was so nice after fishing in the backyard all day … we saw the most amazing sunset across the street! The main road can be a little loud at times in the evening however they have noise machines and a fan to cancel it out so don’t let that discourage you from staying !! Highly Recommend staying at jonathan’s cottage we can’t wait to come back in the summer ! Thanks for the memories!
