Summary: Even though we visited over a very rainy weekend, our family had a wonderful time. Having a living room and a sunroom was a great bonus. Some people could talk and visit, while others could play noisy games, and neither group disturbed the other, but were still in close proximity. The patio with the fire pit and the swing looked like they would be amazing in the right weather.

Summary: We visit Highlands often (2-3x yr) and this was one of the best places we have stayed! Best way to describe it is simply magical! The house sits so peacefully on Mirror Lake it feels like you are in another world. Our kids were obsessed with taking the canoe out every morning and going fishing. The property is also less than 5 min from town making it super convenient. The cottage itself was clean and cozy. Our favorite spot was of course the all seasons porch overlooking the lake. If you are looking for a quiet cottage with serene water views but still have access to all of Highlands amenities, this is the spot for you! We will definitely be back!
