Serene Getaway on the Delaware River and Delaware Canal, a birder's delight!
110-year-old sculptor's summer home. Right in the center of everything Bucks County has to offer. Decorated in serene, comfortable, charming decor. You will feel like you are on a retreat! Air conditioning. Bathrooms, with walk-in pebble showers. Full kitchen. Original hardwood floors. Massive granite back deck facing Delaware River with Adirondack chairs to relax in at a fire pit! Beautifully appointed. "Glamping" at its best!
The owner lives next door and the guest house is on the next property over. You have access to enjoy the yard. The canal w/dock runs along the back of the property.

Many great local restaurants. Close proximity to New Hope/Lambertville. Gorgeous drive upriver to Peddler's Village and wineries. Great gravel trails along the canal. Bikers can access both the PA and NJ sides for trails. River bridge loops make for great "PA-to-NJ" biking. A beautiful stone deck to enjoy nature and bird migration!
Local river outfitters upriver for water sports. Landing nearby for boat access.
Close electric bike rentals too!

Arrivals: You can check-in as early as any time after 10 am, there is just an additional $50 charge given you now have almost another full day on the property!
Departures: If I do not have another party checking in, our extended day options are: Check out up to 3 pm: $35, up to 6 pm: $60, up to 9 pm: $85.
Anything later requires another night’s stay.

Summary: Quaint, comfortable, cozy… The Waterfront Guesthouse was the perfect place for us to land after traveling for several days in January. This place is peaceful. In addition to a great view of the Delaware River, the house is beautifully decorated, the beds and other furniture are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. Friendly, accommodating hosts Judy and Andreas live next door. We would happily return.

Summary: We, like many juggle time with family who live quite a distance away, and this location was perfect. The Cabin is a really comfortable home with 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen.The kitchen has excellent supplies- every pot and utensils you need for our Christmas Dinner. There were toys for our grandchildren and 2 pack plays, The hostess is lovely. The yard was a perfect adventure for a 3 year old, we found animal tracks which was very exciting. Super clean and really comfortable- we will be back!

Summary: After staying a few times already, it feels like home away from home. Absolutely perfect for us. All the amenities are on hand that will make your visit very enjoyable. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay at this location many more times over the next year when visiting family and conducting business.

Summary: Stayed here with friends and we had such an amazing time in this beautifully curated guest house. The hosts Judy and Andreas could not have been more welcoming. The house was filled with anything you would need for cooking and relaxing. We will return.

Summary: The river was the backdrop with beautiful views from the lovely outside deck and inside the house. The house was warm and welcoming, spacious and well stocked - even toys, crib snd high chair. Lots of extras- seltzer and water, marshmallows and popcorn! The beds were very comfortable , bathrooms large and well designed. Easy to travel by the river to New Hope and Grounds for Sculpture...the canal walk right out back is wonderful. The beds were very comfortable

Summary: We absolutely loved this VRBO! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Excellent neighborhood and surroundings. We loved the deer prancing around the house and the peaceful location. The small details were fabulous! Highly recommend!

Summary: I enjoyed my stay at this property; it is cozy and quaint. Surfaces are a bit uneven (such as the stone steps to the front door), so, not for folks w mobility issues. The kitchen is very well appointed and has all the amenities you could want for meal preparation. The stone patio is cool; I would have used it more if it hadn’t been raining. It is perched up high above the canal path. The owner was very pleasant and responsive- she lives next door and could not have been nicer or more helpful. Recommend to anyone interested in visiting the Morrisville area.
