Positive: Isla del Sol is fantastic as it is and I decided to stay a little longer than most people. I enjoyed the location of this lodge at the top of the hill and close to the restaurants and hiking trails in several directions. It felt secluded and quiet and the staff was a wonderful family!

Positive: Perfect spot - once you get there. On the top of the village of Yumani and close to restaurants for sunset and start of hiking trails.
Negative: Be prepared - there is no heating option. If it hails/snows, the room will get quite cold. They did have plenty of warm blankets on the bed.

Positive: The room was the cosiest place we've stayed in South America so far! Also, the breakfast was excellent; hot fresh rolls, real butter, and really good fruit salad. It's also very close to nice places to eat and watch the sunset. The room also had amazing views out over the lake.

Negative: All the equipments are quite old, need renovation, very clean and tidy tho.
